Supply Technician

Duties include but are not limited to:
Inspects stock for package integrity. Backfills primary inventory locations using FIFO principles. Completes stock issued orders at time of pickup. Monitors inventory in primary/secondary locations. Delivers supplies to peripheral locations throughout the medical center. Uses software to produce specific printouts for the clinical staff. Uses word-processing software variety of documents such as encounter forms, treatments plans, specialty procedures, etc. Receives stock shipments, receiving them in system. Utilizes Microsoft Office suite to execute several automation functions to include data input, storing and retrieving, printing, formatting, transmitting and receiving documents through email and fax. Experience:
Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience includes:
Experience organizing work, setting priorities and meeting processing deadlines; Using, updating and preparing Microsoft Excel and Word documents for service needs; Utilizing computer programs for supply tracking; Clerical experience; Monitoring and maintaining supply stock. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (Transcript Required):
Successful completion of (4) years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business or technical school, junior college, college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business or technical school. Transcripts must be submitted with application. Education cannot be credited without documentation. OR COMBINING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Transcript Required):
Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and specialized experience which meets the total experience requirements for this position at the GS-5 grade level. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
