Multi-national maker of injection molded automotive parts seeks an PROCESS ENGINEER ( INJECTION MOLDING) for its facility located in Greenville, SC. The PROCESS ENGINEER ( INJECTION MOLDING) will manage the process engineering function for injection molding machines, participate in initial mold trials, and provide technical support during production runs. Responsibilities for the Process Engineer
Manage the process engineering function for injection molding
Participate in initial mold trials
Sign-off(Approval) of new molds and mold changes from a manufacturing perspective
Monitor processing of each mold during a production run to assure product quality
Requirements for the Process Engineer
BS degree AND / OR minimum of 5 years of plastic injection molding experience as a process or tooling engineer
Proficient in the operation of Demag NC controllers and/or Engel controllers
Proficient in the use of, but not limited to:- Coordinate Measuring Machine- Vision System- Micrometer- Calipers- Gage Blocks
