Job Title: CNC MACHING OPERATOR
Overall Responsibility:
Setup and operation of vertical milling machine and making adjustments for wear and tolerancing as needed.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Always operates with safety as a priority
- Understands daily / weekly goals and job expectations
- Read and understand blueprints, dimensions, machining symbols, GD&T, tolerancing, and ask for clarification when needed
- Ability to operate shop equipment (cnc vertical mill, vertical knee mill, engine lathe, surface grinder, belt sander, etc.)
- Ability to setup and verify code for 1st part and make offset adjustments for tool wear
- Ability to work well in team environment, being flexible with multiple simultaneous tasks
- Willing to help others and learn new skills outside of daily job requirements when needed or as current project demands.
- Communicates regularly with Manufacturing Manager any issues, concerns, or needs in a timely manner
- Understands and follows all applicable company procedures and processes (i.e., material flow, rigging, welding, drawing management, etc.)
- Must have experience with G and M codes.
- Experience using Fanuc controls or Mazatrol is a plus
- Must be able to use standard inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.)
Term of employment: direct hire / contract-to-hire
Qualifications: (necessary skills and experience required)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of work related experience
- Relevant associate's degree or machining certificates preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
