SAW OPERATOR
Overall Responsibility:
Use drawings to cut material as needed for machining and fabrication.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Always operates with safety as a priority
- Understands daily / weekly goals and job expectations
- Read and understand blueprints, dimensions, weld symbols, GD&T, tolerancing, and ask for clarification when needed
- Ability to operate fab equipment (automatic and manual bandsaw, ironworker, shear, forklift, crane, side grinder, belt sander, etc.)
- Ability to QC your work and others
- Must have knowledge of different types of materials (steel tubing, flat bar both Hot Rolled and Cold Finished, Aluminum, etc)
- Maintain quality, consistency, and cleanliness of all parts.
- Ability to work well in team environment, being flexible with multiple simultaneous tasks
- Willing to help others and learn new skills outside of daily job requirements when needed or as current project demands (i.e., Assembly, Machining, etc.)
- Keeps workspace clean and safe on a daily basis
- Communicates regularly with Manufacturing Manager any issues, concerns, or needs in a timely manner
- Understands and follows all applicable company procedures and processes (i.e., material flow, rigging, welding, drawing management, etc.)
Qualifications: (necessary skills and experience required)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 1 year of work related experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
