The Director of Personal Lines must demonstrate great customer service at all times, effectively manage all PL CSR associates and build relationships with personal lines underwriters. The Director of Personal Lines must have expertise in all personal lines and operational aspects of the agency. The Director of Personal Lines must also be knowledgeable of the local market, customer base, competition, and other specifics and peculiarities of the local market that may influence the agency. The Director of Personal Lines is responsible for instilling the agencys missions and values in all associates and ensures that the entire agency operates according to the policies and procedures.
Essential/Principal Job Duties:
Manage PL CSR to 30 contacts per day min
Responsible for OYS Certification
Personal Lines Subject Expert
Train Staff
Build Relationship with Personal Lines Underwriter. (Negotiate any ask of the agency with the underwriter)
Produce 30 contacts per day
Produce $10,000 in premium per month min
Perform other functions as assigned by her/his supervisor
Experience and/or Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Sales, Marketing or three years related experience.
Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.
Must demonstrate excellent leadership to accomplish set goals.
Be able to manage with limited supervision.
Must be customer service oriented and team-oriented.
Must have good management and organizational skills.
Must be detail oriented and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to climb up and down ladder, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 50lbs., and handle large odd shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
