Finance/ Service Contract Specialist
Great organization in Greenville, SC is looking for a Finance/ Service Contract Specialist.
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:
This position is primarily responsible for managing the sales portfolio of service contracts of a given region on a day to day basis. This is to include the following primary functions below.
o Contract Renewals
This position requires the employee to manage a $30 - $45 million sales portfolio of service contract renewals for a specified service zone within the United States. This is to be accomplished through direct customer contact and as an internal team effort with service/sales health care peers and management.
o T&M Conversion to Service Contract
Position is responsible for generating leads for service contracts from aged time and material customer accounts.
o Derivation of Marketing Collateral and Contract Sales Strategies
Position is responsible for implementation of service marketing programs, sales/service selling strategies, and contributing to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for service contract quotes
Anticipated Allocation of Time:
Internal communication regarding contract administration 60%
Direct customer contact/cold calls 10%
Financial and budgetary analysis 30%
Education and Experience
Education -
? Degree: BA/BS or equivalent
? Concentration: Business Administration, Finance/Accounting is preferable
Experience -
A minimum of 3+ years with experience in accounting, finance, and/or financial modeling/analytics is required.
Preferred Skills, Training, and Knowledge
o Finance background
Employee should be well versed in financial statements and their relationship to one another. A background in accounting or finance is preferable.
o Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Contracts
Must be familiar with legal and binding agreements and contracts
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel is of particular importance.
o Excellent Communication Skills
Employee must be able to communicate proficiently with both customers and internal personnel in oral and written fashion. This is an integral part of approximately 70% of the total responsibilities associated with this position.
o Attentive to Detail and Mathematically Inclined
The incumbent must be mathematically minded and quick with comparative calculations for year over year contract pricing observations and differentiations
o Self-Driven, Motivated, Flexible and Team-Oriented
This position will require the employee to work with others in an organized manner to reach organization-wide objectives while also meeting personal goals in the process with minimal direction and/or supervision. Individuals in this position must be capable of performing under pressure as well.
o Team Building Skills
As a member of a team, the employee will be required to excel in not only working with others, but contributing to the overall growth of his or her fellow team members.
Compensation:
$45,000 per year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
