POSITION: Mold Maintenance Technician
OBJECTIVE: Support Engineering and Plant Operations.
SCOPE: Achieve departmental goals that align with the Companys vision.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to: Mold Maintenance Manager Works closely with: Mold Maintenance Employees, Plant Operations, Engineering and R&D
PRIMARY JOB
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment for team members
Review Daily Molding Schedule requirements per Mold Transfer System (MTS)
Operate Stand Up Forklift / Tugger and related equipment in a safe manner
Perform tool maintenance functions as assigned
Perform Tool modification per design engineering specifications
Assist in Tool development and process improvements
Ensure housekeeping standards are met
Keeping areas clean and organized
Sustaining good manufacturing practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret documents and reports
Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office (word, excel and outlook)
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
Must have previous manufacturing/maintenance experience
Possess certifiable skills in MIG, TIG Welding for carbon steel and Aluminum
Possess certifiable skill in use of Acetylene Torch
Proficient use of pneumatic and electric hand tools
Ability to use Milling Machine / Lathe in a safe professional manner a plus
Ability to listen and follow instructions as directed
Ability to order and manage inventory levels of departmental supplies as assigned
Other duties as assigned
LEVEL to be determined by experience and certification per defined training plan
