Great organization in Greenville seeking an After School Counselor. This position is responsible for program development and planning, supervision and instruction, administration, food services and recruiting new participants.
Essential Job Functions: Through employees own efforts:
Program Development and Planning
Develop weekly schedule (ensure program outline is adhered to and followed)
Plan daily activities (arts & crafts, reading, computer literacy, outside play etc.)
Plan recreational activities (exercise, health activities etc.)
Ensure that planned activities are fun and engaging
Participant Supervision and Instruction
Maintain line of sight supervision of program participants
Ensure participants are signing in and out
Implement daily/weekly schedule
Maintain a safe, secure, and fun environment
Ensure program participants are adhering to program policies and rules
Assist program participants with daily homework assignments
Participate in daily activities
Review and initial participant agendas
Monitor drop off and dismissal of students
Administration
Maintain daily attendance
Enforce program rules and policies (DSS, DHEC, SACERS, ECERS)
Document incidents and accidents
Lock and secure building upon program completion
Financial Development
Assist in the development of the program by recruiting participants
Food Service & Facilities
Ensure all children receive a proper snack
Ensure classroom is in order (clean from debris i.e. food waste)
Other
Drive buses as needed
Provide CPR and first aid as needed
Perform others duties assigned related to serving children
Required Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
High school diploma or GED
Six months industry experience
Basic math, reading, and science knowledge
Basic skill level with Microsoft Word
Must have valid SC drivers licenseEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
