Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Greenville, SC)
Established organization in Greenville, SC is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant.
Summary of Duties:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining a current and up to date membership directory, along with performing and coordinating all administrative functions of the organization in a timely and consistent manner.
Qualifications and Experience
High School diploma plus certificate or Associates Degree in Secretarial Science.
Advanced experience with personal computers/Microsoft Office software and other office equipment.
Experience calendar software packages.
Penchant for detail (neat and precise).
Sensitivity to member needs.
Ability to perform responsibilities in an objective and an unbiased manner.
Ability to maintain confidential records.
Ability to complete required task with limited supervision.
Supportive to leadership (team player).
Possess positive attitude and pleasant disposition.
Good steward of time and excellent work ethics (self motivator).
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Punctual, accountable, trustworthy, and meticulous to details.
Advanced knowledge of social networking entities. (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain calendar, (Receive/schedule, meetings, activities).
Publish monthly calendar.
Supervise office detail (special projects, events, etc.)
Maintain individual member giving records.
Send out quarterly statements to all members listing their contribution (Jan., April, July, and October.)
Keep on hand envelopes for all contributions.
Provide a listing of persons who have not given on a quarterly basis. (Jan., April, July and October.)
Coordinate the work of the organization's office with assigned task and respond to membership inquiries.
Maintain organization's bulletin boards.
Insure that office equipment is maintained for efficient operation.
Maintain the organization's office in a neat and clean manner.
Insure all new software packages are registered with appropriate vendors.
Attend professional development seminars to enhance skills and abilities.
Complete other administrative tasks as may be assigned by Pastor or appointee.
Work Schedule:
Position is Monday-Thursday
9 am-6pm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
