Maintenance/Reliability Engineer - plant floor Requirements - BS degree (mandatory) in
engineering
or related field and over 3 years of experience in engineering/maintenance. - Ability to read, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical schematics, technical documentation, ladder logic, etc. - Experience using Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Background in RCA, predictive, and preventative maintenance activities. - Desire to perform in a hands-on, floor orientated capacity. Preferred: - Experience using ACAD and/or SolidWorks design software. - Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment including machining and/or assembly equipment. Responsibilities- The Reliability Engineer will work within the Maintenance group in a technical role aimed at improving the overall performance of manufacturing operations through increased machine availability. The role will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the maintenance reliability program. - Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on capital projects to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new equipment. - Evaluate the content and frequency of PMs and optimize the process to improve effectiveness. - Lead equipment maintainability reviews with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. - Drive improvement in uptime and efficiency of manufacturing equipment through the use of reliability engineering tools and data analysis. - Develop technical work instructions and procedures for predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on new and existing equipment. - Utilize root cause analysis (RCA) to implement effective countermeasures for equipment failures. - Track reliability data and report out on performance to industry standards and defined goals. - Identify and lead capital projects to improve equipment performing below established standards. - Design and implement minor modifications to existing equipment to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). - Manage the TPM program to improve communication among departments, proactively address issues, and keep predictive/preventative processes up to date. - Relocation to Greenville, SC provided - keywords: reliability engineer, project manager, reliability manager, mechanical safety, rotating machinery, safety review, RCA, root cause MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
