POSITION
Summary:
Installs, cleans and maintains draught lines for beer and wine in on-premise and other draught accounts.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Responsible for installing and maintaining all beer and wine draught systems in the market territory.

Cleans and maintains all draught systems based on the scheduled call itinerary and/or as directed.

Properly completes, updates and submits the required documentation for all line cleaning.

Remains available after hours for customer service calls and troubleshooting problems.

Properly maintains Company-issued equipment, including:

keeps sufficient inventory of hardware needed to install new systems

repairing all customer equipment

logging use of all picnic taps

Maintains Company Keg Van in accordance with acceptable standards such as coordinating regular maintenance schedule and repairs, proper gas logs and receipts, keeps supplies orderly and the interior clean and damage free.

Notifies manager of arrival of all beer and wine Point of Sale material including Performs support functions for the sales department draught lines to include
racks, backcards, glassware, wearable, mass display pieces, posters, coasters, etc. and keeps POS backstock neat.

Assists delivery trucks in unloading product at designated accounts as needed.

Participates in and assists with necessary preparations for festivals, special activities and
events
in the local market and statewide as directed.

Stays abreast of business/market conditions and recognizes new opportunities within each account.

Builds and develops the trust and confidence of customers through knowledge of Southern's policies and procedures coupled with prompt, courteous resolution of discrepancies.Fosters good working relationships with all Sales Representatives, Sales Managers, and customer account Managers/Clerks.

Follows Company policies including those regarding attendance and professional appearance when representing Southern in the trade market.

Participate in Southern's renowned training program to increase and improve understanding of industry trends, product knowledge, and to form sales skills in collaboration with the market leader in the wine and spirits industry.
Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.

Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Valid driver's license, CLEAN driving record required,
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow directions
Ability to lift, push, pull, move and carry beer and wine kegs, up to 75-100
pounds on a repetitive basis; able to climb ladders, bend, kneel and work overhead.
Possess solid mechanical skills to install and clean keg systems; may require crawling under buildings, under objects or though small spaces.
Able to work weekends and/or overtime as needed, especially during the peak season as dictated by the local market.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Associate's/Bachelor's Degree
Working knowledge of and/or experience working with of beer and/or wine keg draught systems.
Related industry experience such as draught sales, restaurant, bartending or other service industry experience.
