We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team.
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and editing technical documentation, owner manuals, assembly instructions and operating guides to support our products.
The ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Some of our products you would be writing for include:
Hot Dog Carts, Motorcycle Trailers, Camping Trailers, Vehicle Tow Dollies, Handwashing Stations etc Duties:
- Create and edit technical documentation, including but not limited to; owner manuals, assembly instructions and operating guides.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content - Research and gather technical information from various outside sources - Organize and structure content in a logical and user-friendly manner - Use word processing software to format documents and ensure consistency in style and formatting - Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors - Incorporate feedback from the company president to improve the clarity and effectiveness of documentation - Create visual aids, such as diagrams or flowcharts
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role - Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner - Proficiency in word processing software (e.
g.
, Microsoft Word) - Familiarity with technical writing standards and best practices - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams - Strong research skills to gather information from various sources Ideal candidate will be within commutable distance of our shipping warehouse located at 1434 Poinsett Hwy Greenville SC 29609.
This will allow for hands-on information gathering of products.
