This position is pivotal in establishing balance and a sense of normalcy.
Position Summary This person will provide behavioral consultive services.
Responsible for the Acute Care Unit and Residential Caseloads, along with 4 other BCBAs.
Evaluates and manages developmental assessments, staff training, whether in individual or group settings, behavioral programs, and general recommendations.
Demonstrates understanding of ASD, psychiatric illness, behavior management and biopsychosocial functioning across one's life span.
Reports to the Clinical Director and collaborates with all executive staff.
Requirements Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Humanities or related field and required coursework to obtain and maintain BCBA certification.
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
Credentials to supervise others in obtaining RCT, BCaBA and BCBA preferred, but not required.
Preference working with autism patients and other behavioral issues.
One year's experience working with school aged children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, autism, regulatory challenges and learning disabilities, but would prefer up to five or more years.
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement, initiative, integrity, dependability, decision making, and leadership skills.
Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written.
