Sr. Glass/Glazing Project Manager

A prominent commercial glass and glazing company is searching for a qualified Sr. Project Manager to join their team. Sr. Project Manager
Responsibilities:


  1. Project Planning:
    Lead and oversee glazing projects from inception to completion. Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines, considering all relevant factors, including manpower, materials, equipment, and safety measures.

  2. Client Communication:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure effective communication channels to address concerns, provide progress updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  3. Resource Management:
    Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the availability of necessary resources, including skilled labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements on time and within budget.

  4. Quality Control:
    Implement rigorous quality control processes to guarantee the highest standard of workmanship and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

  5. Budget and Cost Management:
    Monitor project expenses and analyze cost reports regularly to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and avoid budget overruns.

  6. Risk Assessment:
    Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed safely and without interruptions.

  7. Schedule Management:
    Monitor project progress and take necessary actions to keep projects on schedule, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changes and unforeseen circumstances.

  8. Safety Compliance:
    Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring that all team members and contractors adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

  9. Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and relevant correspondence.


Sr. Project Manager
Qualifications:


  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the glazing industry, with at least 5 years of relevant project management experience and oversight of teams.

  2. Strong technical knowledge of glazing systems, fa ade installation, and related construction methodologies.

  3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.

  4. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  5. Proficient in project management software and tools.

  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  7. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  8. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  9. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
