Patent Agent - Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

Description& Requirements Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified patent agent to join its growing and dynamic Intellectual Property Practice Group.
This opportunity is open to office location, with a strong preference for a patent agent located in one of our SE offices.
Candidates must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution, a chemical engineering or chemistry degree (advanced degrees and/or work experience prior to agency exam strongly preferred), and USPTO membership.
Candidates should have a strong chemistry background.
Patent agents will have 1 or more years of experience.
We seek candidates who are driven, possess a desire to develop and invest in their careers and the Firm, desire to work with a national/international client platform, and demonstrate superior client service ability.
Candidates must have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
