Job SummaryThe Rad Tech (Mobile) is part of the Imaging Float PoolAll team members within the Imaging Float Pool agree to float to any Upstate facilityUnder the direction of the Manager, Diagnostic Radiology and the Shift Supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist is expected to perform a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiationAll team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values:

Accountabilities Performs all diagnostic routine procedures (minor trauma, fluoroscopy, minor surgery and routine studies)Acquires requisition and checks for appropriate clinicalObtains appropriate supplies and prepares room for patientAccess patient's condition and level of cooperation and makes appropriate judgment of proper careNotifies nurse and charts all infiltrates and reactionsQuality check films before sending to radiologist to include markers, all pertinent information needed for appropriate dictationWrites additional information on request as neededKeeps room cleaned and stocked at all timesResponds to codes and other emergency situations appropriately60% Explains procedure to patient and introduces self and identifies department Informs patients and families of all delays(including calling inpatient's room when procedure is delayed more than 1 hour) Trains co-workers and studentsAssist other technologists when not busy in assigned area10% Acquires requisition and checks for appropriate clinicalCharges procedure and supplies when exam is completedIndicates no-film badge wearing name and fluoro timeAdds surgical charges when neededOperates the PAC's system appropriately and verify studies before sending to archiveReports equipment problems to supervisor, in-charge tech and documents confirmation numbers10% Charges procedure and supplies when exam is completedIndicates no-film badge wearing name and fluoro timeAdds surgical charges when neededOperates the PAC's system appropriately and verify studies before sending to archive.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
