Interim Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Lead Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care services to our clients, mentor other caregivers, and ensure the highest standard of care.
The Lead Caregiver will play a vital role in initiating services for clients needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and Instrumental activities of daily living (IADL's), conducting supervisory visits, and utilizing computer skills for efficient documentation and coordination.

Client Care and Initiating Services:
Meet clients for the first time, assess their needs, and develop personalized care plans to support their Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Provide direct in-home caregiving, assisting with personal care, medication management, mobility, and other ADLs as required.
Mentorship and Supervision:
Mentor and guide other caregivers, providing support and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Conduct regular supervisory visits to evaluate the performance of caregivers, ensuring compliance with care plans and quality standards.
Documentation and Coordination:
Utilize computer skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care, progress, and changes in condition.
Collaborate with the care team and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
On-Call Scheduling duties:
Must be available for a weekend on call rotation.
Will have on call scheduling responsibilities.

Requirements:
Lead Caregiver candidates will have:
Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience, demonstrating proficiency in providing comprehensive care to clients.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a strong plus, showcasing a solid foundation in healthcare practices.
Previous supervision experience is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to lead and guide a team of caregivers.
Proficient computer skills to handle documentation, scheduling, and communicate effectively.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Must be flexible with open availability to meet client needs.
Must be open to working in a home that has pets or smokers.
Valid driver license and dependable transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
