Position Overview:
Parallel Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Advisor who will focus on the sales and relationship management of company retirement plansThis role is pivotal in helping businesses and their employees achieve their retirement goals through effective plan design, implementation, and ongoing managementThis work will be primarily for a $300MM retirement plan for a national PEO payroll companyMost of the work will be done virtually through video conferencing and phone calls.

Responsibilities:
Retirement Plan Sales and Management:
Develop and implement strategies for the sale of retirement plans to businessesManage and oversee the administration of these plans, ensuring they meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with business clients, understanding their unique needs and tailoring retirement plans to suit these requirements.
Plan Design and Consultation:
Assist businesses in designing retirement plans that are both cost-effective and beneficial for their employees.
Compliance and Regulation Oversight:
Ensure all retirement plans comply with ERISA, IRS, and other relevant regulationsStay updated on legislative changes affecting retirement plans.
Employee Education and Engagement:
Conduct employee education sessions to explain the benefits and features of their retirement planEncourage participation and help employees understand their investment options.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Regularly review plan performance, providing reports to business clients and making adjustments as necessary to meet plan objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with internal teams, including financial advisors, payroll salespersons, marketing, and client service teams, to promote retirement plan services and ensure cohesive client experiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldAdvanced certifications (e.
g.
, CFP, AIF) are highly regarded.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retirement plan sales and management.
In-depth knowledge of retirement plan products, ERISA regulations, and investment strategies.
Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in retirement plan administration software and Microsoft 365.
