HR Technician, Senior - Travel

Overview This position will be physically located in Greenville, SC in support of LOGCAP Travel Coordinators are responsible for securing travel arrangement for project and home office employees traveling in support of all company contracts to include domestic and international flights, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and VISA processing.
Primary focus will be mobilization efforts in support of the Non-Military Individual Replacement Deployment Operations (N-m IRDO) utilizing a Corporate Travel Management system.
Travel Coordinators report to the N-m IRDO Lead.
ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
Book domestic and international airline travel for candidates processing through the N-m IRDO in accordance with company travel policies and procedures Book domestic and international travel for LOGCAP V business travelers Schedule ground transportation as needed Book hotel accommodations and secure rental vehicles for business travelers as needed Work closely with candidates and employees to ensure accuracy of information when booking airline travel Notify candidates and employees of any and all changes to travel that may occur before or during travel Distribution of itineraries to candidates and business travelers Work with company contracted hotels to ensure space is available for all candidates processing through the N-m IRDO Expense report processing at the discretion of the N-m IRDO Lead Process VISAs for candidates and business travelers' respective deployment locations All other duties as assigned by leadership and/or the N-m IRDO Lead Qualifications Mandatory Job
Qualifications:
As a precondition to charge more than 50% of their time to LOGCAP, must be able, willing and ready to deploy to domestic and international locations, including on a temporary basis and or as a member of the Vectrus Rapid Deployment Team (RDT) These locations can include austere, remote, and hazardous areas where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required Minimum
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain a favorable T1 Background investigation
Experience:
Two years' experience in a Travel Coordinator role preferred Experience in an administrative role with focus on customer service Experience utilizing a Corporate Travel Management System Prior LOGCAP experience preferred Skills:
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel etc.
) Outstanding interpersonal communication Basic knowledge of the travel industry Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously Highly detail oriented Working Conditions:
Work environment will typically be an office setting, however; remote work from home may be required Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work.
