Electrical Engineering Lead

Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and direction as listed.
This position has oversight of a specific area and acts as a representative of the department ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases.
This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
This role leads the engineering effort on assigned projects and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Discipline Leads and the Project Document and Data Management (PDDM) Lead such that the most cost effective total project solution for executing engineering work is achieved.
oDirect and manage the interface between Engineering and the other disciplines on the project including Process Engineering, Project Controls, Project Management, Procurement and Contracts, Construction, and the client team oTranslate global strategic initiatives into procedures to be implemented on projects oAct as a leader in applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost- effective total project solution oEnsure that the engineering work on the project is completed on schedule, meets Fluor's quality standards including review meetings and checking procedures, performance is within the baseline effort hour and material budgets, required deliverables are produced, change management is executed in a timely manner, and Engineering Department Managers are apprised of issues related to their function oWork with Discipline Leads and Engineering Department Managers to ensure that staffing levels are appropriate to achieve the engineering schedule commitments and personnel are assigned with appropriate ability oOther duties as assignedBasic Job RequirementsoAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsoAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholdersoJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the joboAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesoAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPreferred QualificationsoFoods processing plant experience preferredoProfessional registration and active participation in technical societyoAdvanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materialsoAdvanced knowledge of equipment through all stages of a project from conceptual phase to design development, construction, and commissioningoEffort-hour estimating and staff forecastingoManaging and leading a large projectoProject set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-outoPractical field experienceoIntermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programsOther Job RequirementsoParticipate in Fluor University courses for continued learning experiencesoUtilize Knowledge Management processes to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project executionoSupport the project by providing an environment for the development and professional advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunitiesoParticipate in sales and marketing efforts as requestedThis position is designed to be performed at one of the Company's main offices; however, a US remote or hybrid work arrangement may be considered for the preferred candidate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
