Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the engineering duties required to maintain, grow, and improve a portfolio of lighting products and services.
The position is expected to oversee the execution of Engineered-to-Order product sales as well as supporting other product-sustainment roles while interfacing with various departments including manufacturing, product management, quality, and other engineering departments.

Responsibilities:
Primary Role:
Manage order flow and design/testing/documentation of Engineered-to-Order (ETO) products needed for specific customer demands.
Secondary Roles:
Perform profitability improvement (VEA) projects such as product-cost reductions and/or inventory reductions.
Coordinate testing requirements and complete prototype builds to support marketing and sales needs such as product expansions.
Collaborate with Product Managers to implement product discontinuations, obsolete products and recommend dispositions of inventory.
Provide technical assistance to Warranty/Quality/Technical Service requests.
Complete needed drawings and 3D models to support updates to product portfolio.
Additional duties as required.
Recommended Skills Lighting Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering Product Management Prototyping Sales Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
