The purpose of this position is to provide technical responsibility for organizing, executing and coordinating complex Process Technology project assignments and may oversee a team of severalengineers.
oMay lead a team of several engineers to develop drawings and specifications for study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED)/Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) phase project definition and/or executionoDevelop Process Technology Quality Plans for small to moderate size projectsoDevelop and oversee Process Activity Plans for moderate to intermediate size projectsoExecute Fluor's scope of work according to contract requirementsoInterface with client representatives:
project, planning, process and instrument engineers, operations and maintenance to align contract requirements and expectationsoInterface with Fluor discipline engineers to develop interdisciplinary drawings and specifications oOther duties as assignedBasic Job RequirementsoAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and fourteen (14) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsoBS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical or Bio-Engineering oExperience creating P&IDs, PFDs and mass balancesoExperience with pump hydraulics for more advanced systems oExperience with Pressure Safety Devices - scenario analysis and load calculationsoExperience with control valve sizingoAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsoJob related technical knowledge in our industries necessary to complete the joboApply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesoApply knowledge of applicable industry guidelines and regulations.
oAdvanced experience with Microsoft tools - Excel, Word, and PowerPointoAttend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPreferred QualificationsoExperience with an EPC company in a process engineering role oExperience in the Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing, or Advanced Technology industry oFamiliarity with process simulator tools such as Aspen or Hysys oFamiliarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow oPE registrationNotice to Candidates:
