Clover Consulting has a direct client in Greenville, SC in need of a Manufacturing System Support Engineer.
This is a HYBRID REMOTE position with 2 to 3 days per week required onsite near Greenville, SC.
This is a contract position, but with opportunity to go direct hire.
Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer Position OverviewThis position will provide comprehensive support to client s IT Manufacturing Applications team.
The MES Support Engineer will work directly with end users in the Manufacturing Quality and Manufacturing Operations groups to support both the Visual Factory MES and Ignition based SCADA manufacturing build systems.
Additionally, this person will be a point source for the acquisition of new requirements and features from the end users on the shop floor.
About the Role You Will:
Support Visual Factory MES and work with IT, Engineering, and vendor team on critical and high severity issues.
Support Ignition based MES/SCADA systems and work with IT, Engineering, and vendor team on critical and high severity Work w business and IT leadership to prioritize other issues.
Collaborate with shop floor team members to design, build, and develop Establish onsite cadences with personnel to ensure reliability in everyday plant Collaborate with cross functional team on manufacturing services / plant floor Provide support in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to effectively resolve issues and deliver sustainable solutions while enhancing resource capability.

This position will be part of the IT Manufacturing Applications team that supports Client s Manufacturing and Engineering operations.
You will report to the MES Lead and collaborate with other IT team members located at our headquarters in Burlingame, CA and manufacturing facilities in Greenville, SC.

years of experience application controls and automation, and systems integration in a manufacturing, system integrator or OEM environment.
Experience with MES applications, Visual Factory experience a Experience with SCADA systems, preferably using Inductive Ignition Experience with MES integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle a plus.
Experience with PLC based controls systems and Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle or other relational Team player with exceptional customer service Requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution.
Ability to quickly adjust to a dynamic and fast paced Manufacturing System Support Engineer MES - HYBRID Recommended Skills Adaptability Analytical Attention To Detail Automation Communication Confidentiality Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
