Job Description:
The part time Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing onsite, outpatient medical services.
This role is responsible for implementing treatment plans in coordination with the supervising physician and communicating with patients.
This will include patient's medical history and physical examinations.
Medical monitoring of patients in all phases of addiction treatment as required.
This Advance Practitioner will positively impact the lives of individuals who suffer from substance use disorder.
We work with our providers to set up consistent weekly schedules.
These schedules are maintained and given every five weeks in order to provide coverage for any absences (if needed).
We offer flexible schedules and very competitive pay as an employee not contractor.
Providers are eligible for up to $400 per year in approved training reimbursement related to their role.
Crossroads also provides medical malpractice insurance for providers.
We are seeking a part time Nurse Practitioner to join our office-based, outpatient medicated assistance treatment program in Greenville, SC.
The ideal candidate would have the knowledge and skills to provide prevention, screening, intervention and treatment related to substance use disorders.
As an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, Crossroads currently serves 9 states (PA, VA, TX, TN, NC, NJ, KY, GA, and SC) with over 100
clinics since 2005.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.
Model appropriate physical and emotional boundaries with clients and co-workers Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
Keep updated on current drug abuse and treatment information.
Assist in the development and implementation of a treatment plan.
Monitor patients continuously and maintains a safe, protective environment for the patients.
Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
Document any incidents or unusual occurrences per policy and procedure.
Assure patient's medical history and physical examination are completed.
Assure patients are referred to proper agencies when treatment is beyond our scope.
Education and/or
Experience:
The Nurse Practitioner must meet state-defined minimum active/current licensure, education, and experience requirements which may include the following:
Master's degree or equivalent Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state you will work with Crossroads.

Addiction treatment experience preferred.
Addiction CME Requirement Documentation- Must complete at least 4 hours of Board-approved education consisting of 2 hours in pain management or the identification of addiction and 2 hours in the practices of prescribing or dispensing opioids.
Opportunity in Greenville and Seneca combined Approx.
18-20 hours a week schedule (4 hrs a day approx.
) Recommended Skills Certified Nurse Practitioner Communication Pain Management Health Care Substance Abuse Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
