Job Description As a valuable member of Fluor Greenville's Central Engineering Group, you will have the opportunity to work in the Advanced Technology & Life Sciences Business Unit.
You will work on teams with proven capabilities and experience in the successful delivery of large, complex projects for clients for advanced manufacturing, micro-electronics and biopharma manufacturing and production facilities, both domestically and around the globe.

Operating under detailed instructions and review, the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed.
This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
The purpose of this position is to work on design and perform 3D layout of moderate to complex advanced scope and may serve as Design Area Lead.
oDevelop and execute Computer Aided 3D modeling of structures of advanced complexity.
oPrepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of moderate to advanced complexity oCheck work done by other Designers oReview drawings and vendor equipment documentation of moderate to advanced complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution oPerform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations from the 3D model and/or from drawings.
oAdhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures oOther duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements oA combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements oAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors oJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the joboAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines oAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications oAccredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent in technical field of study oKnowledge of commercial availability and cost of materials oPractical field experience oStrong 3D modeling and drawing extraction skills utilizing both Revit and S3D software.
oIntermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs Other Job Requirements o3D modeling and drawing extraction skills skills.
oStrong knowledge and skills in development of structural framing plans, sections and details for manufacturing structures, floor framing, roof framing, facade system framing.
