Job Description:
The Strategic Initiatives Manager will aid in the ever-evolving needs of the CEO by anticipating those needs and being of service wherever possible.
The Strategic Initiatives Manager role provides primarily project management services to the CEO's Office, senior management team including planning, research, organizing, managing, coordinating, and executing activities related to assigned projects to ensure reliable and efficient achievement of project goals.
This position provides some administrative support to the CEO, Chief of Staff, and senior management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.
Work with the company's senior executive leadership to define, structure launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Produce and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, thorough meeting notes and follow up on action items to resolution.
Lead multiple cross-functional teams charged with implementing project objectives in addition to meeting project deadlines.
Constant and clear communication with the CEO and Chief of Staff is crucial to ensure all duties and responsibilities are thoroughly addressed and completed in a timely manner.
A quick thinker, dependable and positive minded individual are a must.
Backgrounds such as Executive Assistant, Project Manager, and Business Analyst are a plus and analogous to this position.
Manage external vendors; engage and team with consulting firms as and when needed.
Excellent prioritization and facilitation skills with a clear focus on results.
Deep operational mindset and proven track record in process optimization and execution.
Ability to lead/ project manage cross-functional teams working on complex, operational and strategic initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Evening and weekend hours might be required from time to time to support business needs.

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, mean, mode and median ability to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
