We are seeking a reliable, entry-level Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team and support the Service Department by learning to perform system preventive maintenance.
The Maintenance Technician Apprentice will assist in complete heat pump, air-conditioner/furnace, and mini-split preventive maintenance activities in a resident's home following industry, manufacturer, and company practices.
The company will provide training in our office, classroom, and on-the-job.
The successful candidate will have strong work-ethic, problem-solving skills and be able to learn to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Learn to independently perform the preventive maintenance activities required on customer equipment, and identify components or areas that should be brought to the customer's attention Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory Complete required training in a timely fashion Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Work experience demonstrating a mechanical aptitude Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with hand and power tools Introductory knowledge of electrical, plumbing Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Valid, insurable driver's license and pass a drug screening Perks:
