0 Quick Apply Full-time Full Job Description We are now hiring a full time CMA/RMA for a physician practice that specializes in allergy, asthma, and immunology.
This candidate would have full-time hours and work only until 1pm on Fridays.
Needs to be extremely flexible--work would be focused in the Greenville Area, but floating to satellite offices in the upstate may be required throughout the week.
Requirements:
Must have experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology.
As a CMA/RMA you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.
You will support doctors, nurse practitioners, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Room Patients and check vital signs Check with patients and type up patient charts Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Giving IM and SubQ Injections Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in EMR systems Phlebotomy experience a plus Certification in Medical Assisting is REQUIRED Job Type:
