The Juniper Networks Professional Services Security Consultant is an experienced, knowledgeable trusted advisor to our customers. In this role, the candidate will be required to travel between 50 and 65% of time to customer site for analysis, design and implementation of Juniper Networks solutions. Responsibilities:
The Professional Services Consultant will act as a Trusted Advisor to customers and assist with all phases of network development from planning to operation and optimization. The Professional Services Consultant will be a subject matter expert for implementing Juniper Networks products and solutions with strong emphasis on the Juniper Security Portfolio. The Professional Services Consultant will travel up to 50%-65% of their time and will occasionally have to work nights, weekends and holidays. The Professional Services Consultant will be constantly expanding their realm of product experience. Experience:
Education - BSEE, BSCS or equivalent - Preferred Industry Certifications - CISSP, CCIE or Juniper product certifications (JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE) strongly desired Minimum 7 years design, implementation, and operational experience in advanced, medium to large-scale security infrastructures. Well versed in common best practices for Network Security in Service Provider and Enterprise environments. Experience with UTM, Application Firewall and User Identity based firewalls Experience with IDP, SkyATP and APT detection, protection and mitigation. Experience with DDOS protection and mitigation Knowledge of Juniper JunOS and either Cisco ASA/FWSM or Check Point Firewalls. Hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of Juniper Networks SRX firewalls and/or of the following security products:
Cisco, Check Point, Juniper Networks/Netscreen ScreenOS Firewalls, ISS, Tipping Point, Remote Access solutions, QRadar, Juniper Secure Analytics (JSA), Junos Space, Junos Security Director Experience with VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies and architectures (L2TP, IPSEC, GRE, hub and spoke). Experience with NAT (Source, Destination, Static, CGN, NAT-PT) Knowledge of virtualization technologies Experience/Knowledge in dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) Data center network design experience is preferred. Ability to execute projects using scripting and/or relevant programming languages, for example, shell, Python, Ansible, Ruby, PERL, SLAX, Javascript, XML Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects as required. Demonstrated experience as collaborative team-player As Juniper is a US Federal Contractor, proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination is required for all U.S. employees. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
