Medical Transportation Supervisor
Rolling Green Village is a not-for-profit retirement community with a 35 Year Track Record of Excellence.
We are currently seeking a hospitality minded medical transportation supervisor.
Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care for our residents.
General
Summary:
Maintain and update all scheduling for Independent Living and ADA medical transportation. Position requires above average computer skills for documentation and production. Position must enjoy fast paced and changing environment and working with senior adults. Work with other Resident Health Services Team Members to promote overall wellness of all RGV Residents.
Essential Job Duties:
Complete transportation sheets for resident appointments. This includes IL vehicles and ADA van.
Coordinate ADA transportation with nursing staff in licensed areas.
Update transportation appointments in the appropriate outlook calendar daily.
Assign transportation appointments to the appropriate driver.
Complete monthly IL and ADA transportation billing.
Assist with medical transportation when needed.
Coordinate ADA van requests with IL bus requests when needed.
Maintain three medical transportation vehicles inspections and maintenance of them.
Supervise medical transportation drivers as to schedule changes and vacation/holiday requests verification.
Supervises the performance of medical transportation drivers.
Assists in the recruitment of staff, training, evaluating, and disciplining all medical transportation drivers.
Be able to lift/push/pull residents in wheelchairs as needed to place in ADA accessible van for transport.
Be able to harness, buckle, and use safety restraint straps correctly in order to safely transport residents.
Maintain a safe driving record in order to transport resident in any RGV owned vehicle.
Qualifications and Skills - must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license.
Must have a clean driving and police record.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
Must meet physical and sensory requirements for this position.
