Multi-national maker of custom machinery seeks an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER for its manufacturing facility located in Greenville SC. The ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER will design PLC & robot based control systems using Autocad Electrical to create panel layouts according to NEC guidelines. IMMEDIATE, DIRECT-HIRE OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE IN THE ENTRY LEVEL TO TWO YEAR EXPERIENCE RANGE!
Responsibilities for the Electrical Designer
Create panel layouts in Autocad Electrical according to NEC guidelines, arrange I/O diagrams and machine electrical layout diagrams
Design Control panels using Autocad
Design the integration of peripheral equipment to control systems
Develop technical documentation including functional specifications and design specifications
Requirements for the Electrical Designer
Minimum of an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), and 1
year of experience in the design of control panels for machinery.
Ability to create electrical drawings & panel layouts using AutoCAD
Demonstrated knowledge of NEC guidelines
Familiarity with electrical & safety devices common in industrial machinery
