Job Description: The Customer and Product Training Program prepares highly motivated candidates for a geographic assignment in Dodge Field Sales.
The 6-8 month program will consist of classroom and hands-on training, and will familiarize trainees with Dodge Baldor power transmission and component products, Baldor business operations, and the Baldor & Dodge marketing and sales channels.
Trainees must demonstrate the ability to effectively apply their skills and knowledge through formal presentations, written testing, and exposure to actual customer application situations in the field.
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be assigned to a territory as a Field Sales Engineer.
Education: A BSME or equivalent technical degree is required.
Experience: This position requires less than 3 years of experience and the following:
High motivation to succeed
Strong work ethic
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
Willingness to relocate within the continental U.S. upon program completion
Willingness to travel approximately 50% upon assignment to field.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
