POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate the various components of the Government Billing process including effectively billing or rebilling all accounts to the appropriate government payer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Associates Degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
2. 3-4 years of experience in Hospital Billing, Follow-Up or Collections required. Medical Billing and/or hospital
coding certification a plus.
3. Must have a good understanding of reimbursement methodologies and terms.
4. Must understand government payer billing requirements.
5. Must have demonstrated knowledge of industry trends in Managed Care.
6. Work requires familiarity working with government contracts and payment rules.
7. Must have demonstrated expertise in insurance, managed care and federal/ state coverage.
8. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of personal computers and other standard office equipment.
9. Must be able to successfully complete additional job related training when offered.
J2WPROFEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
